Default Shutting down when "crawling"!

Was "crawling"{no gas} thru a parking lot yesterday trying to find a spot,
when my vette started "dropping idle"{?} and finally shut down!
Started up again and drove slow, and again shut down!
I started up one more time and it drove fine all the way home!
I'll call my shop on Monday to see what They think!
Anybody have any ideas!!?
By the way there were no codes!

George

I had this issue with a cam only LS1 on my 01 Z28. I crutched it by opening the throttle blade a little. You would have to drill a hole in the throttle blade on the LS2 to get the same effect. However, my tuner was able to fix it by resetting some tables. I would take it back to your tuner and let him look at it.

George, have Doug compare your MAF airflow to your Base Running airlflow probably needs some adjustment. Also spark advance at idle might need some massaging.

Let me know when your car goes in for the cam install.

Yes... but if it used to be okay, then I think the first (and easiest) thing to check is that the MAF and/or throttle body are not dirty or oiled up.

The MAF is most likely the reason. Try cleaning it, something might have gotten to it. The other thing it could be is that the MAF tables are off, and that it just needs to be adjusted a little. Unfortunately without scanning to see what it's really doing, all you can do is guess. My two cents, the car went lean.

I'll be adding a "cam" in a week or so and hope this problem will go away!

Can't help you dude, but you have ***** of steel!! LT headers + Bullets?! OMG, maybe you just thought the car stalled- is your hearing still good enough to tell if the engine's running or not? Oh I forgot, people in the next county can tell when the engine is running. I think I just heard you pull up in your driveway (I live in Ohio)

Nice ride, man. That thing's going to be a BEAST w/ cam. How about some audio after the mods?

George- Cheers brother. The audio I was looking for was an audio (I guess I really meant video) clip of your wicked setup, not so much suggesting you go into the *interior sound system*. I'm running stock Bose audio myself and pretty satisfied w/ it, but then I much more enjoy *exterior sound system* audio, i.e. *engine music*.

Kooks LTs/Cats/Xpipe + Vararam and tune going on next week. I may be 'radio off' for weeks after that.
