Default Vortech Supercharger

Just purchased the Vortech kit from A&A Corvette in CA. Would love to know other users experience with Vortech.

I actually saw one yesterday. Nice and quiet for a supercharger. After talking to the mechanic. I would recommend the Vortec over the Procharger. There are some differences between the two. You'll going to love it.

The last Vortech SQ I had always sounded like something rattling inside. Sent it back for repairs and they said everything was fine. That was enough for me.

A&A put the Vortech T Trim in my C5 last June (see my signature). There were a few minor bugs that needed to be worked out, but nothing that had to do with the Vortech setup. It runs like a freak of nature, and we actually eat my new Z alive!!!. As far as I have been able to tell, the big issues are proper belt alignment, and good tune. Andy has both situations under control. His brackets and laser alignment are both excellent. Charlie Williams does the dyno tuning, and there is none better than him on Vette tuning. The T Trim does have some whinning sound, but I enjoy it, it is not intrusive inside the car. Note: do not go overboard on the amount of boost you want. At some point it becomes a little excessive for street use!! Good luck!

Vortech>Procharger

Had a vortech in my TransAm. and I'm thinking of calling A&A about one for the Vette.
