Trust me, bullets and headers are loud. Very loud. At first it was a novelty, now I think i'm growing tired of the noise. Gonna wait till summer and see how loud it is with the roof off and make a decision.
the quad tips are with no doubt the way to go! Usually when I buy a product like tips I always see other things which may make the back look better...but with this, you bolt the system up, and the back of the car looks complete. period...and they look mean...I tell everyone who asks "The tips look meaner than the car actually is"...the tips would look suited for ZO6 type power...
about the systems...I got the 66 due to the fact that I drive mine daily and wanted something rather civilized...however, the rt. system sounds extremely tame from inside the car. infact you can still barely hear the exhuast from inside the car. I have the mn6 and drone is noticable at first because you are used to the stock system, but it is by no means intrusive on conversation, music or anything like that once the system is broken in...If I had to to it over again, I believe I would get something less tame like the bullets
Hello fellow Canadian,
Take it from a fellow Canuck who used to live in Spruce Grove...
Bullets are pretty much just a "Glass pack" type of mufflers.
If you must stick with B & B go with the route 66.
If you're open to suggestions go with Borla Stingers they are similiar to Route 66, but I've heard both and the stingers are nicer!
If you should want to add headers later maybe try LG's I have them and they're terriffic.
They are made by Borla for LG and the quality it excellent!
Here are a couple of links w/ my car w/ LG's and Borla Stingers.
When sitting at lights its just borderline from being a little obnoxious, but very kewl.
Unfortunately I dont have a handicam the only thing I had was a digital camera and the mic is real small on it and the sound quality is not the greatest.
I went with the B&B Route 66s too, and I love them.
If you want a deep, American muscle-car sound, and outstanding appearance, I recommend B&B products.
The Route 66s have very little drone. Bullets are much louder. Your choice, but either are great.
I also got the X-Pipe which definitely improves the flow and reduces popping, but still allows a nice, healthy gurgle between shifts and while decelerating. If you might add headers in the future, though, you can save $s by running the stock H-Pipe for now.
