REM treatment???

I see all these threads about gears getting cryo treatment but nothing about REM...in my past experiences with rebuilt trannies the cryo did absolutely nothing and in the past couple years its seems their is a switch to the REM treatment now, just wondering why this isn't the case in the vettes...

yea i had this done on my tcase and tranny in my evo and shifting was like butter afterwards...rem makes the parts look like chrome...
