Hurricane air box
Hi last fall purchased black hurricane kit from West coast corvette, kit included black airbox, MSD wires, and 170degree thermostat. In literature vendor states "box nearly guarantees engine not to ingest water", and stated likely 35hp gain. Can anyone out there shed and light on this subject? Thanks/Russ

The guys that write the ad copy are most likely not engineers. Hyperbole comes to mind when I read these claims. Buyer beware.
