Question for intake swappers....
Have any of you who have swapped from a LS2 intake to FAST or from an LS1 to an LS6 intake experience what I'd call a "flapping" sound, very audible when car is cool and responds to acceleration? In both my C6 after the swap to FAST and in my old 2000 TA with the swap to LS6 intake from stock, I've gotten this sound, usually only when cooler( the engine) or when accelerating hard. It's happened a few times since the install on my C6 and I was hesitant to ask , especially if it's common knowledge that it always occurs. I've checked all the bolts and the intake seems sealed tight. Any input anyone( I know Xstang can probally shed some light for me ).....
