What are you going to be doing with the car? That's the question.
Yes, the SRF fluid is very good fluid. However, there are other fluids that work great as well (like ATE and Motul) that are half the price.

SRF is by far and away the best brake fluid for racing. Just for normal use is a waste of money. At $72 / liter, and you need two liters to fully flush your old brake fluid out and replace with SRF, so that is $144.
For street use and spirited driving, the ATE or Motul is a better value and use.

I just changed to the SRF because I was getting tired of bleeding the system every track weekend. The SRF is more expensive but also will require less maintenance than the other brands. I have had two track weekends on the stuff and my pedal is still hard as a rock. Good stuff, but like Au N EGL noted it is not cheap. In the long run though i think it will actually save me money.

for sure! Also remember price it by volume not per container.
We typically use 3-5 bottles of SRF each weekend with 3 WC cars. Mind you, this is as EXTREME as it gets, and we typically bleed every session plus a full flush before the race. I use the old stuff in my street cars
