For those of you with exhaust, how many of you installed them yourself? Or with a buddy? I have always done the install work myself on all my previous vehicles, sense of pride and install money goes to other mods. Anyways for those of you who did it on your own, how did you get the vehicle up off the ground enough to get under and maneuver pipes? Any good information on what would be needed would be very helpful.
The forum is a great place to gain info, but as with all diy projects, you just have to get your hands in there and do it. I did the Bullets myself with just a jack and jackstands, took a long time, but I did it! When I replaced the Bullets with the Flows (very glad I did), I just took it to the muffler shop, figured having done it once was enough for me.

I used ramps only to change exhaust twice on my '07. Left the front end on the ground. A little tight at the front of the X pipe, but doable. Since you have diy experience, this should be fairly easy for you. Good Luck!
I installed Corsa Sport and X-Pipe myself on my '06. It was not a bad job at all. I used blocks and a floor jack to get both the front and rear ends off the floor. The Corsa came with detailed instructions and their web site has them also. The hardest part was getting the stock muffler/pipe combo off, but even that was not difficult. Just a little tight. I also had a video made by Ecklers which ran through the whole process which I got from this forum. Sorry, but I don't remember the url where I got the video.

There's just no substitute for access to a lift. Sure you can probably do it on stands, but hopefully you live in a city where you have a chance to make friends w/ someone that owns a lift or w/ access to one. Good reason to ask around at Cruise-ins!
Every military base has an auto hobby shop w/ a bunch of lifts that rent for $2.75/hr w/ tool checkout included... make a military friend who will help you and you're set.
