Installed 2 Vararams today
We installed 2 vararams today. A snake charmer in my buds 05 C6 convert. Took us less than 90 minutes. No thanks to the awful directions however. The unit itself is constructed very well.
There are a number of people who have published helpful directions we read in advance that made the job real easy.Placed a thick piece of cardboard over the condensor and a 1/4 piece of plywood under the shroud when we were cutting to preclude the dreaded condensor puncture.
The biggest problem you will have is the factory directions.We then took the car for a spin through Sedona out through 89 to Cornyville, then back. A big seat of the pants improvement.
Installed the 2nd one in my C5 with comments in the c5 section. Basically the snakecharmer is a much higher quality unit and easier to install then the c5 unit.
