The 411 sir is that the 3 pieces are sealed with orange high temp, off the shelf, RTV silicone. I personally found it to be lacking in some areas when I opened all of the eleven of them that I have installed personally for others without a single issue.
Mine is one of the 11. It's been on for 9 months with no leaks. It's ruining my back tires, though!

A check on LPE's website shows the FAST as a part of every single NA engine package they offer, so they haven't pulled anything. They use LS6 manifolds for their FI stuff. This is logical. If this thread is still active Monday, I'm calling LPE for clarification, because if there is a problem I want to know.
Yes it is true

I just did the lpe 403 package and they did not use the fast because of the issue with them comming apart

Call LPE and ask for Kevin
He will tell you the scoop

BTW

LPE stopped using them months aho like oct of 06
but it has not been updated on there site

Wow, OK. I'm now very curious to hear their story, because I know darned well these are not and cannot "blow apart". The FAST could be better executed in many small ways, but lack of solidity is certainly not a problem with these. If anything, they are over-engineered from a strength standpoint.

I know LPE makes the adapter kit and I know FAST refuses to make a new manifold for the C6. I also know FAST gets backordered on the manifolds from time to time, which would screw up LPE. So if I'm LPE, I'm developing my own manifold about now. I'll all monday and report back.
