I don't have any help but do recall reading that the C6 is more difficult and involved to install. If you should get into further though I would be curious to hear your impressions.
I talked to someone at LPE a few months back, he said the C6 was MUCH harder to minitub, and that they were hesitant to sell it as a kit, they would pretty much only do them in house. I don't remember the exact price, I think it was between $2000-$3000 to have them do it. The pics he sent me looked good though, the car had 345s tucked under stock (non-Z06) fenders.

That begs the question ... why not just put on the Z06 fenders? Less work ... similar effect.
Well that is why im fishing.I have hre rims and its $325 each to make them fit the 345s.And if the kit from LPE is $800-1500 it would be cheaper than the fenders and look stealth.

For me personally, I don't like the rear-only wide body conversions. Doing the rear fenders makes the car look "out of proportion" in my opinion. Having seen the pics from LPE, there is no competition at all, the mini-tubbed car looked 1000x better than a car with the Z06 rear fenders installed.
Wondering the same thing...anyone with a jigsaw and a pop-riveter can do this at home. No need even for the "kit". Just cut out the end piece like you see in the pic above with a strip left around it, cut an AL sheet strip of the desired width, rivet and epoxy / silicone to the cutout piece, position it, cut out the remaining opening, punch your holes, and rivet.
Of course, there may be some changes to the carpet as well.
Well from what ive seen the C5 kit you get inside fenderwell made out of plastic. And the fiberglass inside tub.And i think the c6 comes with a new carpet.
i had an lpe mini tubbed C5 back in the day and the kit was nice. in the second part of this video...right after the C6 smacks the wall, you will see a walk around of a C6 getteing the tubbs done at 21st CMC
Thanks that helps.Anybody have any input on the C6 kit?
I talked with 21st Century Muscle Cars/LPE and they have tubbed several C6's, however, neither LPE or 21CMC sell it as a kit (like with the C5). As you heard tubbing the C6 is more involved than on the C5. From what I was told....it would take about 4 days to do and would cost approximately $2,700.00.
I still want to find out if the roof panel can still be stowed in the car after you tub the wheel wells.
PS There was a video on the forum today of a C6 crashing at the drag strip...this video shows some footage of 21CMC tubbing a C6.

We installed the Z06 fender kit on my sons 07 and after taking it apart I thought we could just as easily have installed a mini tub kit.
The roof panel wont fit in the back with the mini tub kit.Zo6 fenders are starting to look better.
It will fit with the mini tub kit. Look at this video on this site i'm going to give you. At the end of the video they show the kit with the things that hold the roof moved so the roof could fit. I've posted this before.
