No offense because we all have to learn sometime but it never ceases to amaze me the things people believe. Everyone is always trying to re-invent the wheel. The concept of making more horsepower has not changed since the development of the combustion engine. It has merely become more intricate with the advancement of computer technology. However the basics still hold true and I don't recall wires ever adding power to a properly running engine.

and I would really enjoy hearing the hows & whys from the Granatelli camp.

They claim the wires get 35 HP on FI engines. Those of us who have experience with FI realize you need better spark so you upgrade the ignition system. The horse power comes from the forced induction. The improved ignition system allows it (the blower or turbo) to produce more HP because it maintains the proper spark under boost.

Don't they realize that wild claims like this hurt their cred? Now I can't believe anything they say.

SOLD! The fire extinguisher on the 599 Fiorano is $600--of course, it's wrapped in leather. I'll PM you my address. Do you take 3rd party, post dated, Ukrainian bank checks???

My kits don't come with leather........but they do come with plenty of INTIMIDATION. Imagine the look on your foe's face when he see that freshly painted NOS fire extinguisher. He will definately think LONG and HARD about messing with you.

If that doesn't work, add some 8.5" exhaust tips. He will then think you are pushing somewhere in the neighborhood of 784 HP and will surely realize he has been beaten before the race ever began.

Finally, if he still hasn't conceded, buy the LARGEST tach you can find(you know the 6" ones with the 2" shift light) and mount it in the most visible place on your dash. Preferably in the center. Also mount a wing, and this is important, that is higher than the rest of the car. It MUST be higher than the rest of the car to work.

Once seeing all of this........he will run in fear of your AWESOME beast!!!!!! Prices on request.

Hey guys, I don't wanna sound like a walking advretisement but this I feel the need to explain. 0 ohm resistance wires...period. Solid stainless steel core, silver-plated outer core, and RFI/EMI patented resistance ring.

Notice it says "up to" 15hp. Just saw the Granatelli coil packs advertised in Corvette Fever. They claim 15 to 30 hp gain with these. I don't recall seeing MSD make hp gain claims.

If you look at RWHP, 35 HP more at each wheel gives you a 70 HP gain...twice as much as the wires.

PS I only state the facts as I make them up...and remember, dumb looks are still free.

Yowzah Yowzah Yowzah !!! I would go with the Turbonator (+35 HP), the Granitelli wires (35 HP), the Granitelli MAF (35 HP), KN air filter (35 HP) for a gain of 140 HP !! You could take a heads and cam car w/ just minor bolt ons. Then, I would put those magnets on the fuel line. It would be like a shot of NOS.

I can't believe how much the Granatelli name has been whored.

The Turbonator's airflow dynamics can produce a swirling, fast-burn effect in the combustion chamber.

Is it just me or is everyone else getting fed up as consumers with the bull**** products out there? Not just talking about cars but everything. Why has it come down to blatant lies to sell products?

35hp from wires?!?! In what universe? I would bet money that if I put wires in a junkyard on a 1990 caprice in the vette and dyno'ed it and then threw on the GMS wires I wouldnt see anywhere near that.

Same with the insane amount of air flow stuff, the tornado. With the increases in MPG and horsepower they are stating from a piece of tin you would think congress would pass a law forcing OEM to install them lol.

I wish I was a lawyer, I bet I could start a pretty awesome class action suit with these pieces of crap.

The saddest part is how a great name in motorsports can be whored out so easily and quickly. He could have made more money following in his fathers footsteps.
