Is it just me or is everyone else getting fed up as consumers with the bull**** products out there? Not just talking about cars but everything. Why has it come down to blatant lies to sell products?
Damn strait. I would love to see these SOB's fined / sued for crap like this.
It's an abomination !!!
O.K. I couldn't help myself with the last part but I say sue the bastards
I have them on my vett, and they are dynoed for 5-10hp on stock cars. the factory wires 940 ohms of resistance, and the granatellis have 0.05 ohms of resistance. I measured mine with a meter and they were all 0.03 ohms. I don't have a dyno to state 5-10 hp, but I can tell you my throttle response was night and day on my a6 vett, and it's all stock except for the wires. I have had them on several ls1 5.3l trucks I have owned over the last few years with the same results as my vett. Less resistance = more power. Hope that helps.

No offense Mark ... but how much power could a better spark make ... and if it could make a lot of power, why are the OEM's not doing it ... it's not impossible ... and for about $100 ... they could all claim more HP..
Skip the Granatelli wires and go straight for the Turbonator...half the cost of the wires and twice the power gain. http://www.turbonator.com/index.html?id=MSNTurbonator
If you look at RWHP, 35 HP more at each wheel gives you a 70 HP gain...twice as much as the wires.
PS I only state the facts as I make them up...and remember, dumb looks are still free.
Amen to that...They must think people are very stupid...
Don't waste your money on them. The only way there would be a 35 hp gain is if the original set had one wire that was broken and the car was running on 7 cylinders..... Stick to OEM wires.
These claims are absolutely true! The wires are made of pixie dust...and the first 100 customers get a pill to drop in the gas tank that will give you 50 mpg in stop and go traffic...
Well I have them and they obviously dont add 35 hp let along 5 probably, but they are the nicest built wires I have had on my C5 ZO6. They do read 0 ohms resistance which I have yet to see with any other wire. I dont know why it makes a difference because the pro race teams do not use granetelli wires. Also the turbonator might have been pricey but it was much easier than custom turbos that really work.

Wow - bumped a 14+ year old post! I think that's a new record that I have seen.
They build resistance into the wires because if you don't you generate EMP pulses. That used to not matter in the days before electronics, but you're going to eventually fry your ECM with 0 ohm wires.

Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
