SLP Performance Package?? Is it good?

SLP Performance Package?? Is it good?

I went to SLP.com to find that they are offering their catback exhaust, predator tuner(pre tuned), lower degree thermostat, and an slp intake for about $1680. They say an 35 hp inrease, but they are are not showing it on the dyno sheet. You tell me guys, is this a good deal, that is a reliable package that will add the hp, or a a bunch of crap?

I think their 35 HP claim is at the crank.. From all I've read on here sounds like you could probably spend your $$$ better ..

I went my own route and bought the items most of the forum mebers have recommend. headers/fast intake/CAI kit. sure thats more money then their kit however its PROVEN gains as dyno sheets are posted.

I do have a question not to hyjack the thread but I did see the SLP LS2 underdrive pulley rated for 10hp. Is this malarky? any dyno sheets to prove it? I used them on previous Cobra and 5.0's and noticed it slightly (SOTP)

I'm thinking that if that's all it takes to gain 35HP, GM wouldn't have gone to the trouble to develop the LS-3 for next year's Vette.

Texas speed has proven it to be true. The heads made the claimed power and with a 228/228 xer 114lsa cam they made 440rwhp with no UD pulley on an auto.

Another memeber is in the process of the same install and should have results in the next few days.
