do a few gentle slow downs from 40 to 10 mph
Then do 3 to 5 HARD stops from 40 down to 10
then 3-5 hard stops 80 down to 10. ( get on it so the ABS is actived)
and if you have the nads
do 3-5 100 down to 5 mph stops.
Drive around for 30-40 min too cool the rotors off and then put your car away for 24 hours to finish the cooling process.
You should probably clean the rotors with soap and water before you install them(or use a brake cleaner). Alot of times there is oil left on the rotors from manufacturing.
You may want to have them checked for flatness. When I bought new Brembos' for my C5, they were anything but flat. Had to have them surfaced prior to install. Was told that was common for new rotors.

New rotors should NOT need to be turned, though they do get stacked or stored wrong and may need to be.If I get new rotors and they are warped I would take them back until I got a good pair. Always wipe them down with some carb or brake clean. They usually have something on them to stop rust.
-- C5 Napa rotors are 1/2 inch smaller than '07 Z51 C6 rotors?
-- Even with this size delta, No changes or modifications to calipers of C6 Z51 brakes need to be made? e.g it is a simple remove and replace the rotor operation? If "No" what changes need to be made? What parts are needed?
Scheduled for a 2 day HPDE in mid-June 8 hours from home and want to use them instead of my OEM rotors...

You will need a differnt Caliper mounting bracket. With the C6Z51 brake set up there is a larger front mounting braket too accomidate the larger rotor.
as to the NAPA / Raybestos rotors, I have been using them for 4 years on the track. Each set I get and take a micrometer to them to check for thickness and uniformity. Never had turn one rotor. and that was 42 front sets, and 18 rear sets.
Just becuase they are $22-27 each, does not mean they are junk.
Why have I not gone to a BBK?? stopping power, I can underbrake ( stop shorter and quicker) then almost any comparibe wt car with the stock Corvette PBR caliper, PCF-01 or Wilwood H brake pads and Castrol SRF brake fluid and yes big arz 12" wide front tires.
