Default Exhaust transportation

I am thinking about going to Carlisle in August & would like to have a catback system installed while I am there.....after having the opportunity to listen to the various choices. I have an '05 coupe and was wondering if it would be possible to transport my old exhaust system home inside my Coupe or if I'd need to have a friend come along in a separate vehicle.....solely to carry my ol exhaust? Does anyone know than answer to this? Thanks in advance.

It will fit inside the rear area. I brought mine home from the shop that installed it. Make sure you wrap it up to protect your interior.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you know if 2 would fit? My father has an '06 vert and may want to get one, too. I was thinking we could each get a new set and I could bring both home. Thanks....I meant to add this to my original post, but forgot.

You can definitely get one set in the cargo area. It will probably carry three mufflers.

You might have to carry the fourth muffler in the front passenger floor and seat area and put three in the back.

Or you could have him carry one muffler on his passenger side and you carry the other on your passenger side.

I doubt you'll get both sets in your cargo area though.

BTW, you aren't talking about getting an X pipe too are you??? Because if you are, then all bets are off. I don't believe you'll get the stock X pipe into your cargo area. And certainly not two.

My stock x pipe was bubble wrapped with the rest of the system and fit fine. Two systems might be a problem.
