Default Supercharged in Seattle?

I'm thinking of supercharging my new stock 07 C6 A6 Coupe. Does anyone recommend a particular brand? I would prefer a system that can be locally installed and if required, serviced. I'm in Seattle and can't find local distributors for any of the major vendors here. I can't install it myself.

I'm looking to add 50 lb-ft or so of torque, nothing too crazy, and I like the low end grunt the supercharger gives.

Thanks!

Tom Wong. Wongs performance engineering. On the forum I believe his tag is TJWong. I would go with ECS or A&A.

I definitely recommend Wong's Performance Engineering. Tom is the best in the area and has an in house dyno as well. He's located in Vancouver, WA (south on I5).

Thanks for the tip. I'll look them up. I heard from Procharger that they have a distributor called blue oval performance, and it's also in Vancouver. I wonder if they are affiliated?

Im not sure on that. He had just finished putting an A&A setup on a C6Z when I took my car in to get tuned so I know he does work with those. Also in the NW you have Corey Harris (that right?) that does throttle bodies and intakes and I know he has worked with Tom before. If your feeling really frisky TTi is in the area as well.

Heck if you are only looking for a 50 ft/lb increase I can do that easily with a lot less complexity than a blower. And it would be much more reliable as well. Check this thread on another local owners A6 C6 that I did last winter. Cory has been in this car for a ride as well:

If youre after low end grunt, the Callaway blower is the way to go. Centrifugal blowers make more topend power, but a roots blower is nearly off idle boost.
