Default Need info on Alcon Pads

I am trying to help out a friend w/ a 2005 C6. He bought the vette which was nicely modified for O/T; however, he has no info on where to get pads for his car.

The car has Alcon calipers on it (Front and Rear), and he needs new pads. We are having a tough time finding where to purchase the pads.

Number on the back of the pad = 6326211
Pad Width = 5-15/16"
Pad Height @ Center = 2-1/16"
Pad Thickness New = Unknown

Any idea where to get the pads from and what compound to run for a dedicated O/T car would be appreciated.

What to look for is the Model number of the Alcon caliper. Alcon only makes a few dozen differnt modle numbers. And the Insudtry standard pad desigin shap number.

Bear Brakes BIG brakes are made by Alcon if I recall correctly

Other places to try are actully racing parts suppliers.

I think your best bet would be http://www.HRPWolrd.com

Complete Alcon Brake parts listing

HPR World sells a lot of Alcon brake products.

Damn fine brake those Alcons

I was looking @ the Hawk Brake pad shapes @ Racerpartswholesale.com and did not see the shape. Alcon website does not provide any info. I did see some reference to Baer, I think you are right about that. HPR web site does not help, but perhaps a phone call to them will? I do not think the calipers have a part number on them. My friend would have looked for that I am sure, but I will ask just in case.
