Default C6 coupe exact weight?

Ordered a G-Tech, and I know that accurate weight is a necessary input for best calculation accuracy.

Anyone have exact weights of the various C6s?
With or without full tank of gas?

I have an 06 A6 Z51.

Thanks in advance!

Coupe: 3179

If you really want to be accurate, get on a set of scales for your car.

Don't forget to add your own weight along with all the junk you normally carry in the car.

Thanks!

Do you know if that is with full tank of gas or empty?

EDIT..

I just looked up "curb weight" and it says that includes full fuel.

So just need to add my own weight and small items.
Subtract for less then full fuel with a best guess of whats in the tank.

2005 car and driver for a M6 Z51 had.....

Curb weight: 3224 lb

I dont know how sensitive these G-tech things are to weight.

I suppose within 50 pounds ought to be close enough.

No, your car weighs less at sea level because the denser air causes more boyancy!

The 3210 was from my memory. I just pulled up my spreadsheet. It weighed 3405 with me in it and around 3 gallons of gas. I'm right at 215, so that puts the car at 3190. The A6 is a very heavy tranny!

That's actually the only way to know for sure for I have yet to see two (even similarly equipped) C6s weigh the same.

Gasoline is 7# a gallon. I always thought curb weight was with an empty tank, but may be wrong.

Are you sure the scale was dead on accurate?
I also have a non Z51 1LT A6 and it weighed roughly 3406 - 3412 pounds with me and a 1/4 tank of fuel in it (on the NHRA certified/calibrated scale at Englishtown) and I weigh roughly 190 - 193.
I'm calculating around 3220+- for my car without me in it.

mark, i weight my car right after glennhl. so with his 2lt z51 a6 vs my 1lt z51 m6 the weight difference is like 80 lbs. there was less then 1 gal difference in fuel between our cars. i even got on the scale just to weight myself for reference. i can in at 185lb on that scale (it will only move in 5lb increment) i weight 180lb at my local gym scale.

I think it's closer to 6 pounds, 5.8 pounds per gallon I've heard.
But either way it DOES add up, I can clearly feel the performance differences between a full tank and a 1/4 in my cars.

Well those numbers/differences do make sense though, the automatic does weigh notably more than the manual and the 2LT does weigh more than the 1LT, both cars are Z51s so that's a wash.

What I was questoning is how SoldSyclone's vehicle weight could be so low, but it is possible I guess.
