My 2005 Vette was working well and later in the same day, the car would not start. I replaced the battery just to trouble shoot if not enough cranking amps, checked all fuses, inspected all connections and nothing. The car just trgiggers rapidly when button is activated, but no ignition. The vehicle only has 13,000 miles and has manual transmission.
Flat bedded to the dealership where it's been for over a week.
They first diagnosed to be the fuel pump by not getting enough juice. They replaced the pump, the car started up fine. The following day the car at the dealership would not start and doing the same thing, activate the start button, fast rapid trigger, but no ignition. They have checked the car from bumper to bumper and no success.
They are calling the engineers at Chevrolet for help.
This is a Chevy dealership and was told that they have not changed a fuel pump on a Corvette with such low mileage or even from a 2005, 2006 or 2007 as of yet.
Does anyone have any feedback that I can provide to this people who are trying to get this car running. Thanks.
I have an 06 Coupe 6 spd that has failed to recognize the key fob/s on numerous occasions. The wife had to call On Star on The 4th of July cause it would not recognize the fob and the female operator was as worthless as **** on a road grader.
I wrote a bitch to On Star! A lot of good that did.
So, now we have to take the car to the dealer (warranty) and then have them tell me,, "Oh, were sorry,,,,,we could not duplicate your problem. Have a nice day, come back and see us soon for your next scheduled service!"

I feel your pain my friend, but I'm heading to that dealership tomorrow and raising hell in a nice way. I mean they do have my car and I want it back soon and in great condition. But I need a Corvette Expert. Some Chevrolet dealerships have one, just need to know where.
I met my Mr. Good Wrench today and I mean I was just thinking
" Not You " silently to myself. Small guy, late 40's ealry 50' spoke english like a like he learned it yesterday on his way to work. You read repairs manuals and working on my $52,000 Vette which I paid for. I hope and pray I get lucky at least with my car.
