Your BS post impacts the manufacturer, the distributors and the prospective customers. Bad (negative) news travels a lot faster on the Internet than any positive information.

I have a different cai, but man posting negative criteria about the Vararam just because you having problems with the install, does not make it an inferior cai. I think your frustrations are due to the fact that the distributor doesn't return your calls.

I think he was referring to another member's post however my frustration is partly with the distrubutor and partly the fitment issues with install. I would not say its inferior with performance results although I have not got a chance to really test it but if it does not fit properly with the addition of the throttle body spacer a solution should come with the kit instead of having to figure something out on your own.

you dont have to change nothing. i put it in just fine with stock accordian. heres what you do. cut the front off the shrow out to the humps half way into the humps on the fram. put the bottom section in with the two half biscuts in the grill . once in look from front to make sure ,now tighten lower frame suport. now push top section on throttle body rubbers , then lower and adjust to bottom .
I just installed mine without spacer and had no probs but I took the shroud out to cut it and went a 1/8" bigger then template
I also took MAF off and attached to the Var and put in all in as one peice and just had to wiggle a bit to get lined up
If you need any help I'm in north NJ bergencty

He; (Steve) speaks the truth. I had problems with bottom half of my
unit seperating at the seam. Steve had me another unit shipped quicker
than I could respond to his e-mail. I offered to pay for shipping and he
refused to accept it stating only that he was sorry that the bottom
section failed. Vararam Industries was supportive when I first installed
my unit and still services what they sell. I've bought items way more
expensive than a CAI and still did not get this kind of service or support after the sale. Vararam & Chuck Cow are a lethal combination.
