Reading Light stays on after engine off

New member as of today, though viewer for a few years.

Took delivery of my 2008 yellow c6 convertible on 7/11.

The reading light stays on after turning the engine off when it should go off after 20 seconds. It finally turns off after 10 minutes due to the 10 minute battery-dead safety measure mentioned in the manual.

Please help, as I'd like to see it go off in 20 seconds so I not to have to check back in 10 minutes.

If its anything like my 05 interior, you probably hit the little button that controls the dash light intensity located to the left of the steering wheel. Just press it again and it should solve the problem.
