I believe you will want the switch... when those baffles are open on the highway it is DRONE CITY in my buddy's Z06. It gets annoying real fast. Doesn't sound good, just loud and boomy on the highway open.

But it's nice at idle while open and at WOT of course. I wanted to put a set from a Z06 on my 05 but can't since I have a trailer hitch for my track tire trailer and the hitch interferes with the vacuum mech.

So I did the next best thing.

I can't tell what you did there. Do you have pipes under the backend of your car?

Ooh, I love to listen to my Stingers.

Well if you don't like them, you can talk **** about them like all of the people who do not own cars with the NPP option.

Hey, if I don't like them it will be a cold day in hell before I would tell anyone on here about it. I would say I love them and buy something else. HOWEVER, I do think for my needs they are exactly what I want, quiet when I want and loud when I want and I can control it. Best of both worlds.

Welcome to the Forum. Good to know you'll just lie to us.

Am I misinterpreting your comment? If so I apologize.

Having riden in a Z06 with the switch, I think the NPP exhaust with a switch is indeed an excellent system and I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

We have Borlas on our C5 and really like them. Best sound, quality, etc. They will go on our C6 when it arrives, as I have ruled out the rather ugly NPPs.

He's just sharing my sarcastic humor. There are a lot of people who criticize the NPP exhaust option. I'm not sure why though since no one is forced to buy it.

Me too, love em. I drove around for a few days with the fuse out. Sounded awesome, but I got kinda tired of "loud". Now I keep the fuse in... perfect for my tastes.

Can't vouch for anyone other than me, but I've never intentionally misled anyone on the Forum. No need to do so, I've recevied such good information here I feel a duty to repay with any knowledge I have. I think most who post here post the truth or they are pretty quickly called out on it.

The Mild to Wild switch is on sale right now in the C6 Parts for Sale section. You'll very likely want one. With that I think you've got the best exhaust out there. Wish it would fit on my car.

The Z06/NPP exhaust does fit, just takes a little work to get the vacuum plumbing in and the pipes to mate to the LS2cats. I like it on mine.
Those who want freakishly loud wont like it but its just right for me.

Well, I'd like to claim credit for it, but I copied it from someone here as well..... can't remember who it was.
