Just ordered my Borla exhaust... would like to get some recommendations on quality shops in the Phoenix area for install. I live/work in the east valley, but willing to go anywhere for Corvette expertise.
Thanks... just found Xtreme Motorsports in Tempe too. Talked to them and sounds like a quality place. They do lots of work with CnV Corvettes. Nice website too:
Xtreme is great, tell them preston recommended them
They are turning my car into a racecar as we speak..
Cool... I did talk to them about a tune too. I will probably wait a month or two and decide on headers or differential first.
As for price, Jason quoted about $180 for the install, maybe less. I would spend a few hours and $$ just modifying jacks and ramps. Worth it for me, being lazy and all... :o
Ya I had some bad experiences going with garages that don't really know cars too. My viper i had all kinds of work done locally, finally ended up shipping it to a viper only place in California. They are having to redo everything.
Xtreme pretty much only does vettes
I ended up buying another vette just because I knew they are here to do the work on it.
yeah I guess $180 isn't bad. It's not really the money though. A lot of it is the satisfaction of doing it yourself. Jacking up the vette is fun task though.
I made a make shift ramp out of 25-45lb weights.

I know some guys around town are trying to set up a dyno day at AZ Dyno Chips soon. You could go do a baseline run, throw on the cat-back, and find out exactly how much the exhaust is worth. I am sure everyone would appreciate it and the dyno rates seem very reasonable. $60 for half hour, $110 for an hour.

They quoted to $180.00 for exhaust??? On a lift takes less than an hour. Seems quite high..(no more than $50.00 if you have to pay).Again IMHO:cheers:
