Default Brake pad question

I replaced my ceramic brake pads with high performance Carbotech pads to run at the HPDE at VIR with the Corvette Museum. When I got home I put the ceramics back on to avoid all the screeching. The sounds are gone but now I have a very low vibration when braking. They are just not smooth anymore. My question is do the pads have to go back on the same wheel they came off, or otherwise turn in the same direction? I didn't mark them when them came off so I don't know if I put them back the same way or not.

They should wear in if their in a different location. Vibration is usually caused by warped rotors. Could that have happened? If so the rotors need to be turned.

I suppose it could be the rotors, but I drove with the Carbotechs for a long while and did not notice the vibration until I changed the pads. How would I check to see if it's the rotors?

Do a few hard stops. Rotors rarely warp but do get uneven pad material buildup, causing some vibration. Yes, ceramics do have less braking efficiency- just step down harder on the pedal!
