Did you have to drop the rear sway bay when installing/removing the exhaust? I saw a video of an install and they dropped the rear sway bar. I was wondering if this was necessary or not.

It sure makes it easier to get the OEM exhaust out, as it is one piece all the way back to the H pipe. If Borlas are like Corsas, the over-the-axle pipe is separate so that once you get the OEM muffler/over-the-axle pipe out, you can more easily fit the Borla mufflers on the stock hangers and then connect up the over-the-axle-pipes to them. Besides, dropping the rear swaybar is no big deal: two bolts and two nuts (you don't have to disconnect it at the ends, just in the middle where it mounts to the rear crossmember). HTH.

No need to remove it. I have a lift, but even so, it did not come into play. The Borla's are two piece as described above, and the install is very easy.
If you elect to remove it, it takes all of 5 minutes... But really no need to
Unless you use a lift, you must remove the sway bars. Just 2 bolts, rotate them down, then bolt them back when the exahust is installed.A few minutes, no big deal. You will never get them out without removing them without a lift...
