code P0641, ideas?

code P0641, ideas?
Hi all, Had my first malfunction on the Vette in 2 years. Code P0641 which is "Sensor a reference voltage circuit/open" Car went into reduced power mode and also getting service traction on the DIC.
Went straight to dealer, hope they can fix. Any one want to take a shot at the most common problem with this.
Did do a search and found one other that had same problem, Ourayzman. Dont know if it has anything to do with the problem but the day before the problem came up another dealer had just upgraded my onstar to the newer digital system, he says he didnt touch anything that would cause current problem.
