I parked a 2005 corvette just under a year ago and have not touched it since. I did pull the negative teminal off the battery. what should I do to get the car back up and running. heard plenty of stories and just want to get a definitive answer.
I do hope you put some sort of Stabilizer in the gas and made sure that it ran long enought to get to the injectors.. IF it starts get fresh gas into it ASAP
If you did not change the oil before you put it away, change it ASAP.

291 miles only? Talk about garage queen..Why don't you drive that poor c6? It needs to be driven..God I can't understand how someone could let a c6 just sit there..
You will need to reset the window indexing after the battery gets reconnected. Just in case you've never done this before, here are the instructions.
Raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Done.
This is called resetting of the window indexing or power window initialize and is in the owner's manual. See page 2-17 of the 2005 owner’s manual, page 2-18 of the 2006 owner’s manual, or page 87 of the 2007 owner’s manual.

Got delivery of mine on 12/29/04 with 21k now..And its not my daily driver..Drive that biotch ...Heck who knows if I will have the chance to drive it the next day, life is too short..
I reconnected the negative terminal and pushed the start button; fired right up. I then changed the oil and drove it four hours to LA.. .. Score one point for the vette.

Make sure your tires are at the right pressure.
Worst thing you can do to a car is let it sit.
Additionally, I would squirt oil into each spark plug hole to eliminate the possibility of breaking a ring.
