Default Ceramic Brake Pads

Just curious... Does the brand of ceramic brake pads really make a difference?

Thanks!

I would seriously advise against ceramic if you are doing any high performance driving. I had these on my car because the stockers squealed. Took them to Laguna Seca and overcooked the brakes coming into a corner. Grabbed a foot full of floorboard heading toward the kitty litter. Thankfully my rear brakes still worked so I went squirming into the braking zone. Barely made it.

CERAMIC SUCKS

I got the GM ones from Gene as well, and am extremely happy with them. They are very quiet and the dust is negligible and very light in color. As mentioned above, these are not meant to be racing pads, and for that usage will not give you the performance you need. For normal street usage, they can't be beat.Stay with a major brand, preferably the GM/Raybestos ceramics and you'll be safe.Gene will give such a good price and great service there is really no need to shop any further.
