I am ready to purchase a Vortech SC for my 06 Vert with A6. Any feed back on issues anyone has had with supercharging thier vettes would be much appreciated. problems, failures, suggestions etc. Car is stock otherwise. Thanks everyone.
I am curious about the noise factor just tooling around, if anyone with one can share on that. I didn't think they were noisy, haven't got to hear one yet though.

If you get the Vortech supercharger Super Quiet (SQ) you would not be able to tell there is a supercharger installed on your car at idel and if you drive normal around town.

Good question by the OP. How much $$ should the above be?
You'll have a grin on your face all day. It's a little louder, but sounds mean as hell at idle. While just driving around, inside the cabin with the windows up, the exhaust is louder than the S/C. With the window's down, you can just barely hear it. We like the ATI units because of the self contained oiling set up more so than some of the other manufactures out there.

What's the expected total cost plus install on an ATI Procharger?
Also, what other little bits will be needed? IE, how much whp will be seen, and will this require a new clutch, rear end, drivetrain bits, etc.?
novi 1500 here. 20,000 miles on the car when installed to blower. 24,000miles on it 2 months later. drive the car everyday rain or shine so far. just put headers on it and hit 592rwhp and 517tq. stock clutch holdin up fine so far but they recommend you change it if ya drag race, i havent yet. its an awesome feeling when ya feel it kick in. good luck with your decision. im sure youll be happy with what you do either way.
I had purchased a kit from A&A but I'm running a bit more psi then your stock block can handle.I haven't installed it yet, still waiting for the machine show to finish my block work I requseted. Andy set me up with a textralia clutch and a few other things. The instruction manual is pretty simple if you are willing to take the task on! I personally love challenges so I'm looking forward to do this install
