The cam sounds VERY mean! My customer has B&B Bullets so its even more pronounced.
Again this is cam, headers, Vararam and tune. The LS2 likes big cams. Idles rock solid at 850 and drives like a stocker until you put your boot into it.
Awsome!! What is great that most of you didn't notice is the fact that the exhaust, cam, and vararam made almost 100hp+ on this combo from stock. Thats an impressive gain no matter what the final numbers are. Also if anyone has a question, this dyno has been calibrated to be in line with other "DynoJets" for accuracy.
Did you go the G5x3? Here's my graph to further validate your results. Like you, I'm flat amazed how well the X3 works in the LS2. My car starts, drives, idles, everything like stock (with a heck of a lope). Never dies like my cammed C5 did.
Also, this proves your Dyno Dynamics dyno is pretty close to the Dynojet - I had a Dyno Dynamics dyno on my car with headers only but it must have been misadjusted as it gave my car 424 rwhp but the dynojet with same mods gave 386. Your Dyno Dynamics dyno seems to be better dialed in, I think there were some funny things going on with the one I used previously. I read that your dyno dynamics is the cadillac of dynos.
This sheet shows G5x3 with .040 Cometics vs. headers vs. stock.
I can post a vid of idle but I don't want to steal your thread any further than I have. I just wanted to support your good results with my similar results.
Post away! I don't have time to post a clip. LG has done a great job on this particular cam profile. The LS2 with the higher compression heads and some displacement, really uncorks with this grind.
Here's a clip of my car idling, through stock mufflers and with the cutouts open. It's really quiet through the stock mufflers, the gain on the camera makes it seem louder than it is. Most people have no idea I have a cam when riding in my car or next to it.... until I open the cutouts.
Howard, did you go with the .040 thin Cometics to increase compression to about 11.4? I did to keep my low end torque up (see that I didn't lose any from bolt ons only). Your low end torque is even better than mine.
As you can see from my and howard's graph 100 rwhp is about the difference between stock and G5x3 with complimentary boltons.

I'll let Howard answer the above question as it is one of his customers cars. I too was amazed at how well the low end on this car turned out. I have a cam just a little smaller then the X3 in my C6 and hope to have some numbers in the next few weeks. We are going to get it tuned this week. My car stock was just about identical to the above car. I will be staying with stock gaskets as if I am going to pull the heads, then I will replace them. Too much work IMO.

I thought long and hard about changing the gaskets. I'm glad I did. its not much more, couple of hours labor, $130 for gaskets, few bucks for head bolts, all in less than 400. But I truly thinkthe .5 increase in compression to 11.4 kept my low end torque up to equal to my stock cam. Here is a dyno sheet comparing my car to my buddy's LS6 with G5x2 and stock gaskets. Now bear in mind he has a 346 and 10.5 compression, but when you start taking away DCR with these big cams you better increase compression or you will lose low end.
Heads are untouched. A lot of the low end came from the tune. The motor had a huge dip from 2000 to 3800 which wasn't there with just the headers. A few key strokes fixed the problem. Personally I thought it would have lost a few ft/lbs down low but was wrong.
Regarding pricing, send me a PM or drop me a call.
