Question for the tekkies
I have a big problem.
I have rotor envy. :o
On my new 07 Vert there are these tiny little dinky non drilled rotors, where the other one had the z51 pkg, nice big huge slotted rotors.
What can I put in to fill the hole? I do not think Z06 rotors will work. Do I have to change brackets and calipers too?

If you want cool and good rotors and are willing to spend - check out Baer Eradispeed rotors.

Are you sure the Z51 rotors/calipers will not fit? I have a Z51 and the wheels are the same size. Hope this helps.

If they would fit that would be very cool, but that is why I am asking.
Thanks for the reply!

That's what I bought. They look great and the car still stops!

The drilled Z51 rotors will work fine on your C6. You will need the Z51 caliper brackets too. You can use your current calipers and brake pads.
Gene Culley sells a kit with everything you need to put the Z51 brakes on your car for about $600.

The only difference is the rotor diameter, so the bracket that holds the caliper must be changed to move it out.
Same calipers and pads, buy the other parts online and do the job yourself in less than 2 hours for all 4 wheels.

No, just changing the rotors will cost around 900 to 1000 for the eradispeed 2 piece rotors.

If you want maximum performance, buy the cheapest, solid, undrilled, unslotted rotors. They'll outlast any of that blingbling drilled stuff that just gives cracks a good place to start.
