Help!!

hello guys i have a 2005 m6 z51 the car was running realy good i installed american racing racing hearders 1-7/8 with out cats and also the the vararam and the car is slower is it because it need a tune?????

please help

It should have more power tune or not... The only way I can see it being slower if it is throwing a code due to poor/improper installation

it is throwing a code i think is p0430 and p0420

P0420, Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)
P0430, Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2)

Still your engine should running fine, I would assume this it just an emissions issue

You should be running better! Your ECM may have picked up some spark knock and droped you into the low octane timing table. Try running all the gas out of the car and then refiling it to full with the best 95 octane fuel you can buy. That should reset the timing table.

Get a Halltech tune; a forum vendor and let them know what fuel is available to you.

What are the symptems? Is it running rough?, Missing, stumbling, not revving high enough. Did you get your header bolts tight...no leaks?

Can you be a little more specific?

Need more details. Why do you say it is slower? Feels slower or you ran it at the track and KNOW it is slower? Any issues on the install? Did you run O2 extenders and put the sensors back in?
