I have the performance offroad. They are made by Borla. The the GM performance are offered in 2 models. I'm not sure which models relate to which Borlas.
I bought the GM performance Offroad system used, from a forum member, about 2 weeks ago. I just drove to Carlisle and back (2 1/2 hrs each way) and they sound GREAT! They are the same as Borla Stingers (2 stacked mufflers). ANYtime you touch the throttle it means business. But the drone is very minimal at cruise (unless you'd rather be in a Cadillac!). The tips are like cannons and have a nice raised design with the Corvette crossed flags. I also feel better with "GM" stamped on them, in case I have to go back to the dealer for warranty service.

i, too, have the gm offroad/stingers but with the dual wide rectangular tips.... man, they rock.... very stout... if you don't want it pretty loud, might opt for the touring.... but the offroad is the way to go!
Are the GM performance mufflers a complete catback system ? Or just mufflers and about how much do they cost?
The ones I got were just the over the axle pipes. Even though the H-pipe has to be dropped to install, I decided not to replace it with an x-pipe. They slip in easily and come with the heavy duty clamps, like the factory ones. Since it's just one double muffler set up with 4 prongs that stick out, you don't have to worry about aligning anything. Just be VERY careful of those trans connectors back there! I had one knocked off during the install and all hell broke loose with trouble codes, etc. until we found it. Then the dealer had to clear the codes.
