Differential noise
Stopped by the Mobil Quick Lube joint on the way home, changed the differential oil & had them add 2 bottles of friction modifier. The annoying rear end chatter ended immediately.
Only downside was the $160 price tag.
I know I could have taken it to the dealer, but I am extremely dealer-averse. Plus, the Mobil place did it while I waited, about 30 minutes.
Next step is to see how long before the chatter comes back.
