Default header sound files

I'm trying to find sound files of cars with headers to see if it will be too loud for me. I heard a Z06 today with American racing headers and it was pretty loud at idle but supposedly quiet when crusing.

I searched under headers and under header sound and found nothing. Can someone point me in the right direction for my search. Probably just searching on the wrong word.

I think if you install headers but keep the stock mufflers, your car will be louder than stock but quiter than the after market cat back systems.

I have LG Pro LT headers with a stock catback. It's a little louder, but not too loud.

Rob, Glenn has it right on,
I have Kooks, HI-flow Cats and Corsa cat back exhaust. It is definately loud when you nail it (AWSOME!) or on decel (you get the preverbia burble on decel) which is very cool! As far as loud under normal load, you would think you had a stock system, and absolutely no drone, I swear to the man upstairs! Your having stock exhaust, I would believe you will be more than satisfied. Good luck, be safe and have fun!

Thanks for the sound clip.

Mine will be run without cats, does that make a difference? Also, when cruising, assuming you can't hear them in the car and its quiet, is it still pretty quiet with the top off?

No cats will make it louder.

During normal cruising it is not much louder than stock if any.

Below will give you an idea of how WOT sounds with the top on and windows up.

Tahnks for the sound file, is that with cats or without? Any chance you have a sound file of what it sounds like just cruising in 6th?
