Default Issues with cruise control

Any one out there have cruise control issues after a gear change from stock to 4.10s? This is a M6 C6. I can't find any reason for it not to work, it just doesn't work.

Mine is a 06 with Z51 package, GulfCoastPerformance put in 4.10s for me and cruise control is okay. I have tried all the electronics to make sure they work and they seem to be fine. Had to reindex the windows, NBD on that.

I'm sure you checked the electronic harnesses reconnect
And also made sure that the cruise control worked beforehand.
Is it an 05 with no Z51 package?

I follow your tuning and install posts and you get good results. Your condition seems odd.

There shouldn't be any reason for it not to work...mine works fine (except I can't set it for the cruising speed I want...say around 120)...

This may sound stupid, but I will presume you checked to make sure the cruise is in the "On" position...with the "Stalk of a 1000 Uses" it may have gotten turned off my accident.

Hope it's nothing too difficult...

BTW...How are you enjoying your 4.10s?

Not too many mechanical links I wouldn't think like old cars...did you check the switch at the top of the clutch? Won't work if that's not tripped.

I didn't have any gear related cruise issues so just a WAG here.

That's not good for speed control w/ all that added 4.10 thrust!!!

Good luck!

Yes, I have checked all the obvious things. According to my trusty TECH2 dealership scan tool, the BCM sees all the necessary inputs ie; cruise on, cruise set, cruise resume so its getting all the inputs from the multi-funtion switch, and that the switch has power to it. It just won't work, I have the latest manual updates and their diagnosis of the system is vague at best, and according to what I have found the cruise control should be working. If there was a ABS issue or a sensor left disconnected I would have a DTC but there are none. Its weird, like the BCM think its all working but its not.
