Default Kooks header gasket

I need to replace the gaskets on my longtubes as they are both leaking. Is there a GM part that works with these headers (a part # would be great) or do I need to order from Kooks?

Don't have the part number, but the GM dealer will have them in stock. You are looking for the stock metal gasket for your vehicle. They were about 13 bucks here for mine.
Cheers.

Default Just replaced mine too

I just replaced mine too with the stock GM metal gaskets. The ones that come with Kooks are worthless and leak. Problem solved after the recent swap.

My installer said not to use the Kook gaskets, just use the stock metal one. If you still want the Kook gaskets I have them still, brand new, they're yours.

Thanks everyone. I just called my dealer and told them to use the stock GM gaskets. They initially told me they didn't fit with my headers, but I think they just realized it was not a stock part and assumed the stockers wouldn't fit.

Stinky, if the dealer still gives me noise about the stockers not working, I may take you up on your offer! Thanks for all the help everyone.

Don't beleive the dealer. When I installed my Kooks headers I bought and installed the GM gaskets. They fit correct and don't leak.
