Default How to get trouble codes manually???

Does anyone know how to get trouble codes manually using the A/C control panel. On my C5 I used to push and hold the off and warmer button simoutaneously until the info would come up on the DIC. I have not been able to figure it out on the C6. Anyone know how it is done???

Didn't know that on the C5 you can do it on the HVAC system!

On the C6 I don't think you can do anything like that.

Yeah on the C5 you could cruise through the various control modules and see all the trouble codes per module. Clearing codes was also possible by simply pressing reset on each code. Anyone......Anyone?

I sorely miss this feature on the C6. I bought a little Innova CAN enabled code reader from Walmart and keep it in the rear cubby.

I hope someone chimes in with a secret series of buttons to press.... but I've been watching and waiting for that for 1.5 years now...

Default Code Mystery Another Way to get them

On my C5, I hold down the options button, and depress the fuel key 4 times and up comes a roll of the DIC codes. I then hit the reset button, which puts in diagnostic mode. Now by pushing the option button (I am not in the car but it could be the E/M button) once you get the code. To reset the code, push the reset code.

not possible to do with a c6, your local autozone can do it for you if you don't have a code reader.
