I plan on getting an intake at the same time as I buy the Diablo Programmer and getting it dyno tuned...but would it be wise to buy the Tuner if it's getting dyno tuned already but I'd be able store the custom tune if I need to return it to stock for service so should I get the Programmer the intake and dyno tuning or just the Intake and Dyno tuning. That was long.
Geez,I'm out of breath!!!
I got the diablo, intake and exhaust and a tune from ecs.I'm storing the ecs tune in the diablo in case I ever need to go back to stock and then put the ecs tune back in.
Im not sure who you are getting the parts from and the dyno tuning, but if you are right in naples, were about 1hr east of you in coral springs. We have the predatures in stock and we can throw and intake and tune on the car with the predature all in one shot and you can drive home in one day.
I not much with computers but I have a question. I bought a diablo for my 06 A6. However, I went and had a procharger intalled 160 stat ect. As mentioned with the ECS tune, Can I down load the EFI tuning into
the Diablo, basically for safe keeping, just in case a dealer pulls a surprise ECM update? If I can I will keep the diablo and download. Hey Mike, can ya help me out. P.S. Diablo still unused in the box Thanks guys.

I am on the same page. You load the stock and the custom tune into the Preditor and then you can go back if there are issues.

First get your stock tune in the predator
then go to custom tune-I think it is- where it says read extra tune.-Do that-then get the adaptor for the diablo and upload the extra tune to you P.C and keep it there.
Tks for the info Jesse12804. The tuner is 4 hrs away and will see him tomorrow. Will ask more questions then also but that sound like a good plan. I'll get help down loading of course I can mess things real easily

Srew all that my friend, go out and get the HP tuners and program your ECM when ever you want...going back to stock happens in a flash. None of those handheld units can compare to the HPT software...NONE.
You can pay a local tuner to tune your HPT, or we can tune your car for you for only $200. All you do is: email me your stock file, we then tune it based on your mods, local ambient temps, available fuel and so on. Then send it back to you for downloading...our email tunes have unlimited upgrades!
You better check with Predator to see if it in fact copies the entire ECM. Otherwise, you may have changes made by HPtune that will not get saved by the Predator because it doesn't save those cells. You could end up with a half a tune after a reinstall.
I asked ECS this at Carlisle and they did not know the answer. I opted to put in the stock tune first and then their tune so I could at least sell the Predator if I like ECSs tune.
