LS2 vs LS3 this Sat
Hi
I have an LS2 Z51 w/the Snake Charmer and Flowmasters no tune. My Brother has a 08 LS3 base Z51. We are going to race on Sat. at http://www.alteredgas.com/index.html What do you all think and who's gonna win.

I'd say he beats you by .1
Asumming all things are equal, of course (both getting good launches, both shifting well if you are manuals, etc... )
Does his have the optional gearing if it's an auto?

No times on these races. Old time run what you brung. Gruge matches and 1/8 mile track. Ck out the web site. There is a 4X4 Jeep srt hemi there that beat me twice before the vararam. He has a great hole shot(quess why). Lots of vipers, street rods, Z06's show up.

I've beat him in the past(1-2 lengths) when he had his 07 ls2. Thats why he traded for an 08. The link below is me racing a C5.

I don't power shift (gas peddle to the floor thru the shift) I speed shift and I can do that pretty quick. My brother isn't quite as fast. This Sat. he said he is going to power shift if he loses the first race against me.

I think the 08 car will beat you if it's a Z51 A6, not by alot but he should pull on you.
