Default Help with Dyno Numbers - Please

I posted this over in the Z06 area, but I thought I would post here too I am very worried there maybe something wrong with the car the more I think about this. Please let me know what you think.

I have been looking at the some of the other threads with the Dyno Numbers. Here is a copy of my Dyno Run. I have a 2007 Z06, American Racing Headers, Killer Bee and the Tune. Do these numbers look right?
Why does the curve look like that? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Looks like they shifted gears in the middle of the run.

Patsfan,
I just got my first dyno 2 weeks ago on my '07 A6 w/paddles. However, from what little I know of these dyno graphs, I could only suspect that the dyno operator missed a shift or clutch slipped or tires slipped on dyno wheels (very unlikely I know). I agree 100% with Rock n Blue. Get a DETAILED explanation and possibly another run on the dyno. Not slamming the tune shop at all. It just looks strange and no one goes to jail inquiring about ones baby!! IMHO you are right to be concerned but i would think there is a very good explanation since you do not mention any problems after your tune and run. Of course good luck and post findings as we can all learn.

I'm sure there's nothing wrong with your car. Mike Norris has tuned 2 cars for me and many of my HPS buds and did a great job.

I have a similar dyno sheet, see below. One guy posted on my thread a year ago that he has a dyno dynamics dyno and he thinks the rpm sensor mis-read for a moment for some reason.

Bottom line, I didn't (and suggest you don't) worry about it. I bet the car feels a lot peppier doesn't it!

Hey All,

What happens on this dyno, from what the operator/owner tells me, is when you see this "blip" is that car is beginning to spin the tires slightly and then catches. No missed shifts or anything harmful, just an aggravating graph. Happens on about a third of the cars I tune over at that shop at one time or another.

Hope this helps and thanks for the business Patsfan67.
