CODE ERROR P0449 after CAI and CATBACK INSTAL
The other day I installed a VARARAM CAI and then I installed the
BORLA STINGERS W X pipe. Then I noticed the CEL came on. When
I checked it out with the PREDATOR CODES P0449 and P0801 were
present.The 0801 was a reverse inhibit and that explains why I
have difficulty getting into reverse.
I have not changed any programing in the flash and the stock settings are in there.
Does anyone have any idea how to cure these CEL'S ????

Make sure the reverse lockout is still connected on the tranny. It's near the CAGS connector.
You might want to reset the PCM by disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes...

CEL condition corrected P0449 code after catback installation
Just received my 07 service manual. What a help. At the time of installation they probably shorted the reverse lockout solenoid hot wire to ground. Thus blowing a 25 amp fuse that feeds the reverse lockout and the canister vent valve. Two presumably unrelated conditions.
All ok now . Now i can get on installing my LG lt Headers.
