Life without torque management....
wow.
The car scares me now. Feels like I added 75 hp, at least at the times when I or the car is shifting. MUCH easier to break loose from 1-2 and 2-3. The best way I can describe the difference is....my car used to slightly pause between shifts, as if to settle into the gear, then bleed the power on. Now, the car SURGES forward into the next gear. (note - I have around 425rwhp, and my best quarter time is 11.99).
I may be overreacting a bit, but it has me reconsidering my winter HP mods and leaning again towards a widebody kit and much larger rubber. I am DEFINITELY going to the track this week (weather permitting) and seeing if this makes any noticeable change in my quarter times. If I can keep it off the wall.
I'll probably run like this for another month, but when cold weather is here to stay, I'm turning it back on. It definitely makes these cars safer to drive.

does the t/c a/h button still work? do you still have the different modes? (ie. all on, t/c off (comp mode), t/c a/h off (all off))
My tune was done by HP Tuners in a soon-to-be-released beta version. The current official version has TM deletes, but not the same ones. This is a HUGE difference.

No TM is probably a good think on a 1/4 mi track, but I'm thinking I'd probably want it in place on a road course...or at least a toned-down version of it. Not sure at this point if you can "tune" TM yet...it would be cool if you could, like have a slider bar in HPTuners between 0-100%.

This is important because this tune turns off your rear O2 sensors, so you will not get an SES light headers cause. Also the tune is designed for headers, and should give you 90-95% the power of a dyno tune, while also having a tangible object. So if you get a cam down the road, you can sell it for almost as much money as the tune for the cam will run. It can also raise shift point's, set fan controls, remove the skip shift function, and much more.
I know it is a little off topic...but The GTO and F-body crowd use these a lot, so I wanted to bring some attention to them. My car has responded great to this tuner and teh removal of TQ management!
We sell the tuners here if interested.
