I had the ExtremePSI couplers for my Vararam and when I removed it and installed the Honker I tried to use the same coupler and it didn't seem to want to work. I went back to the stock coupler.
First measure the openings. Then go to the Extreme PSI website and pick the couplers that fit. They display all sizes. That's how I bought the two I used. Honest, it's pretty easy.
Does anyone have a picture of what these look like on the car?
so does the 3 3/4 x 4 ID x 3 inch long reducer work on the Honker setup, looking at the stock coupler seems to be 4 1/2 long so not sure if 3" is long enough,

Yes, according to my mechanic the reducer should be 4 1/2" long just like the stock accordian. I had the Honker install, and kept the original coupler for now. I may still install a silicon coupler eventually for the looks.
The really good news is that the Honker, and Cory Harris ported TB and intake manifold are a great combination. The car is now much faster and more responsive, plus it even sounds better.

If I have all this right, we need 3 3/4" - 4" reducer that's 4 1/2" long. Both of the websites listed show only 3" length. Has anyone actually bought one of these and put it on? Does 3" long work?

You can soften them up by heating up a large pot of hot water, not boiling, then with thongs pull them out & dry completely, inside & out.
That was my technique to getting them on.
Take a look at the below sizes from the turbohoses link you posted.

Thanks, I do appreciate this, but I'm still a couple of steps behind here. I have a Callaway Honker. I think I need 3.75" to 4" transition that's at least 4.5" long. The one you highlighted is 3.5" and only 4" long. Are you saying you used this one and it worked OK?

No, I have not used this one. I ran across it since I am looking for a different coupler than I am currently using.
I did find the below quote on their site interesting though, especially since I have noticed that several of the CAI manufacturers have switched to the "hump" style.
"This is a must have for any intercooler that is connected solidly to the body. Engines have a rocking motion and piping must be allowed some free play to avoid damage to the intercooler end tanks. Each pipe should have a minimum of one hump hose per pipe."
