Default Corsa Owners. . . .

Are there any Corsa owners in Eastern, PA, South Jersey, Delaware that have the Sports or Xtremes that would be willing to give me a ride?

I am trying to decided between the Xtremes and Sports and would love to hear one of them live from the inside of the car to see what it sounds like at highway cruise and normal driving. . .

I am a little afraid that the Xtremes will be too much, as I was told by Corsa that they do drone, just a little bit. So if the Sports are enough, I'll just go with them. . . hearing either one will help. I have already heard them online, on videos and from outside the car, but the real world experience would really help.

I'll fill your tank for you! PM me if you can help. . .

I'm off exit 105 GSP and I'll have my car tomorrow with me at work if you want to come up and listen. I have Sports with headers.

I'm picking up my car tomorrow and I'll have my Corsa Sports in a week. I'm in Newark.

ive heard the xtremes and sports in person and rode in a car with the xtremes...lets just say i'd never consider the sports as they're too tame. xtremes fit the bill, and they don't drone (manual tranny)...very sweet exhaust note, just something i have to put off til next year due to the price, so my magnaflows are going to have to hold me over til then.

Just put a set of Extremes on my 2005 Coupe this past weekend. Noticed no drone at normal highway speeds (65-70 MPH). Certainly give the old gal an aggressive sound!

Had a heck of a time lining up the tips to the point where I thought they were acceptable. Here's a good video in case you do the install yourself (click view video on the left side): http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...2&dept_id=1778

->Found a stripped sway bar bolt from the factory that I had to re-tap. Really disappointing for see this type of issue in an auto of this class!

Since I do runs on weekends with my wife, I'm waiting to see what she has to say (She drives an Avalon and loves the silence). "A Happy Wife IS A Happy Life".

Good Luck with your decision!

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE--- Decide whether you will install headers! Sports w/ headers are much louder and aggressive than w/o headers. Extremes might be just the ticket for you w/ stock manifolds, but could be too much for you after headers. Goes double if you go w/ an off road header setup w/ no cats! Trust me!

Thanks for all the feedback and PM's. I have arranged for a ride in a car with Xtremes.

My decision should be easy after that. BTW, the rest of the exhaust will stay stock. . . .

Looking forward to hear what you think of the Xtremes. I've been thinking about getting a set for sometime now! Anyone in or close to Tampa FL with Xtremes?

Went for a ride in a car with Xtremes. Nice sound all around. Definitely not too "loud" at any time. However, they do drone just a bit around 1500 to 1800 under load. Not bad, but it is there. It was not bad for a few minutes, but not sure if I would get sick of it after a while, so I wimped out and went the "safer" alternative. I decided on the Corsa Sport.

I should install this weekend. I will have 500 miles on the stock system by then and should be able to give a good comparison. I will let you know the results and will document the whole procedure with pictures. (I am also installing the Elite Engineering 1/4 inch, insulated back bone plate)
