C5 Z06 condom?

Planning to run auto-X in Phx in November and wondering what is the best tape to use to protect the paint from flying debris? What else could you be thinking?

I've seen in one of my catalogs where you can order white vinyl exactly like what you see on new cars during shipment. It would look dumb, but I'm sure it would protect your paint rather well.

looks like hell, but I've heard/seen some guys running with that blue painter's tape (removable within X days). I understand why to use it, just the look that gets to me.

If it helps, I've run several Solo 2 events in Phoenix with my 06 C6 and have yet to have any issues of kicking up debris. I have hit an occasional cone, but it never left a mark on the car.

I'm assuming that you ran the Solo AutoX at Firebird and really appreciate the heads up! Maybe see you there on 11/3
