Default Am I losing torque??

OK.. I have the Maggie, and when I use my heavy right foot to go faster, my tires spins a little.. MAYBE! so, is this a TQ losing situation???

to be brief.. OK, I heard when the rear tires spins.. this mean I'm losing all my torque power! is this true?

TQ is not related to whether your tires are spinning. TQ is a measure of how much twisting force the engine is producing, multiplied by your gears.

If your tires are spinning excessively, you are losing traction, and the car will not accelerate as quickly. If the tires are spinning just a little, you are not losing much at all, might even see a slight gain.

That's almost right. Spinning tires have less traction and so cannot transmit as much torque to the ground. Your engine doesn't know any of this; it just sees a reduced torque load when your tires spin and thus revs faster. That's why when your tires let go, you hear the engine speed increase, maybe straight to the limiter. Can't get as much torque (or power, which is just torque x rotation speed) to the ground on spinning/slipping/sliding tires.

No loss of torque unless traction control is on and computer is taking over.
