6 speed automatic strength???
Hey guys and gals ,
I'm new to this board, I hang out at the C6 ZO6 board b/c I own an 07 Z. Might be getting an auto 6 speed also.
Anyway, I would like to know how strong the A6 transmission is, for example has anyone gone in the 10's w/ one?
W/o internal mods to the trans?
How much horspower can this trans. take?
Will it handle 650 to the wheels w/ just a tune?
Or does it need to be internally modded?
Any major carnage (rear, trans, axles) from drag racing?
I'd love to hear about some of your set ups Thanks in advance!
My Z went 11.54 @ 123.16~1.83 60'.......Stock on stock tires in Sofla. (its posted on the fastlist on the ZO6 board.)
