Hey guys, quick question - I had my tuner turn off the skip shift and it is works great. My question is, with the skip-shift turned off (via HP tuners), will the light still illuminate the 1-4 shift? I ask because I haven't seen the that skip-shift 1-4 light in sometime. It may just be that I am driving it right but I wasn't sure. When I had the skip shift eliminator installed (before I had it turned off permanently by tune) the light still came on, even if the skip shift was inactive. Thanks for the help.
Cheers!
Your tuner set one of the parameters that causes the skip shift to something that it'll not see. Mine is set to activate at 300 MPH. So, since I doubt that I'll be at 300 MPH, the signal is never given to make the CAGs activate. (Unless I hit 300, then I'll have to fight that damn thing again)
